A CIESE Collaborative Project

Homeschoolers, Wheaton/Silver Spring, Maryland

We met and went online to see what other groups around the country had found in their squares of life. It was fun to read what other groups had written about their school/research areas, but we couldnt really see that anyone had found things very different from what we had found. Since the reports all kind of look alike in the database, we didnt see big differences.

We found that there were many differences from one square to another square on the day of our research, though, here in Silver Spring. Squares in the woods were different from those in the sunny, grassy areas, for example. This makes us think that if we could actually visit others square of life we would find them to be very different indeed! We especially think that the squares in Alaska would look very different from our squares here in Maryland.

We enjoyed looking up on maps to see where the other groups were located.
