Project Instructions

Instructions (Please see project schedule for specific deadlines)

  1. Read the Project Requirements if you have not already done so.
  2. Review the Project Purpose and develop a hypothesis for the experiment.
  3. Submit a Letter of Introduction from your school to the project Discussion Area . You can also submit photos of your class to the project leader. These photos will be posted on the project web site in the Student Area.
  4. Do the Boiling Point Experiment.
  5. Submit your data to the project web site after you have completed the experiment. Use the online form in the Project Data section on the main page to submit your data.
  6. Analyze the data reported by all participants. Was your hypothesis correct? You can find instructions for downloading all the data into a spreadsheet file in the Project Data section.
  7. Submit a Final Report, Conclusions, or "Lessons Learned" by students to the project Discussion Area .
