1. Click on A, hold shift key down and click on C. Now go to Measure and choose Length.
2. What is the area of the square? Write the formula and do the calculation on paper.
3. Click on the center E of the circle, and, holding the shift key down, click on point F. Go to Measure and choose Length.
4. Calculate the area of the circle. Write down the formula and do the calculation on paper.
5. What would you do to calculate the area between the square and circle?
6. Now, click on the interior of the square. Go to measure and click on Area
7. Click on the interior of the circle and go to Measure and click on Area.
8. How do those answers compare to the ones you got on #2 and #4?
9. One last thing, click on Measure, then click on calculator. Now, click on the measure of the area of the square (6), click the "-" key then click on the area of the circle (7) and click on Okay. How does your answer compare to #5?
